For the 4th year in a row, Yoe Fire Company has partnered with McPherson Tree Farm for a Fundraiser. Participants in the Fundraiser benefit twice by getting not only a quality Christmas tree, but also donating $5 to the fire company for every purchase made.
McPherson Tree Farm has close to 15 acres of quality hand prunned Douglas Fir trees. Sizes range from 2 feet to 14 feet and are priced at $5 a foot.
The price of the tree also includes tax, netting, drilling, greens, holly, and/or pine cones. Tree stands and tree bags are also available for purchase
The farm is located across from Sam S. Lewis State Park on Mt. Pisgah road and is permitting the tagging of trees now! Customers are asked to park at the end of the lane and use weather proof tags that are easily visible.
The farm is open for cutting Fri, Sat, and Sun on the dates of 11/29, 11/30, 12/1, 12/6, 12/7, 12/8, 12/13, 12/14, 12/15, 12/20, and 12/21.
Times are Fridays 1PM-5PM, Saturday 8AM-4PM, and Sunday 8AM-4PM.
