By Asst Chief Gouker
February 27, 2010

At 2342 hours Station 36 along with mutual aid departments were alerted for a bathtub fire, which was quickly upgraded to a structure fire. Lt 36 went on location with a working fire showing through the roof. Tanker 36 arrived shortly afterward and stretched an 1 3/4" hoseline into the structure, attacking the fire and holding it to a bathroom and bedroom. Rescue 36 arrived second and with the help of Attack 36 personnel laid a 5" line to supply Tanker 36. Rescue 36's crew, with the assistance of Engine 35-1 and TK 19, then checked the structure for extension and established positive pressure ventilation. No other fire department services were needed. Box placed in-service at 0244 hrs.
